What is the gothic look? for a women

we see all the time all over the internet from instgram,tumblr, facebook, youtube, vampire but im asking the question how do you know it a "gothic look."

Their are lots of women in the world calling them self gothic and trying to creative a gothic look i myself is one of them...

But have they really got the look right??

Ease into Goth.

This i would have to say is very true and right we all are walking down a road slowing finding our way and working out what the right and wrong way to go with out a map sometime to help us so of course growing and changing slowly doesnt hurt anyone it apart of life..

Determine what style you are aiming for.


This is not alway a easy thing to do because gothic model just make everything look dark and amazging with photo editting etc........... but what look good on them will not alway look good on you so i think it really finding what you personal like and finding thing that work for you like if you love death rock style find stuff around that, that will alway make you look good and conference with out it having to copy a picture to do it

Browse goth pictures and movies for inspiration.

like i said before sometime those look will not look go on you and you dont want to copy someone else style is about making your self look good and feel great not what you think will make you look goth sometime that will just make people thing your a poser goth

Go to thrift stores/second hand shop

Yes goth do enjoy thrift because you can find amazing and interesting cloths but sometime looking in mall shop can have amazing thing to hind inside down be scary to look around new and preloved you never know

DIY or consider altering the clothes 

 this is a personal thing and it can work out great and sometimes it can go horrible wrong so just becareful with what you do and maybe buy cheap cloth to try this out if you. but your not going to be call a non-goth if you dont do this

Consider boots/shoes

So time this can be a great why to make your outfit feel more goth when you going for a more relax look and the boots are really comfortable

Complete your look with accessories. 

laying, hair, makeup, accessories can make the most simple outfit look amazing and fun and it just add more personality to you look 

is this list right i not really sure i cut out a few of the other list because i didnt see the point of talking about them i think we all have a understand that a goth looks is alot of black, ghost looking skin, dark makeup, and a feel of fishnet, lace, velvet or a corset. 


I think that sometime we need to not look at a list to work out if it goth or not

i think it about being comfortable in your own skin

and creating your out outfit and style with out trying to make it look like the picture perfect goth, because we are all beautiful and all different and we all have different tastle in cloths and style...
